To understand and measure the poverty level of microfinance clients, ACCION is undertaking a multipart poverty assessment project. This document lays out the analytic framework for the analysis that will be employed to compare income, expenditure and socio-economic characteristics of ACCION partners' clients with international and national poverty lines. The objective of this framework document is to propose a structure for the initial poverty assessment.
